Behavior

Trust me:  when they say it hurts me more than it hurts you, it is totally true. 

I hate seeing you suffer. However, your behavior of spitting, hitting, and not listening has to stop.  

Therefore, on Sunday I spanked you (which I never do) and yesterday I gave everyone ice cream except you because your behavior was so terrible at the library. 

You ruined an entire display of paper and cards and then refused to help clean up. 

I hope you are getting the message that momma is buckling down and you will behave. It breaks my heart but I know I have to do it. 

Banana Bread

Mama's Banana Bread Recipe

This morning we found the best Banana bread recipe. It was moist and delicious!

Here it is:

Ingredients:

4 over-ripe bananas (my catalyst for baking banana bread)

1/3 cup melted butter

1 cup sugar

1 egg, beaten (with just a fork, let's not get crazy)

1 tablespoon vanilla

1 tablespoon baking soda

Pinch of salt

1 1/2 cups flour

Preheat oven to 350

Combine smashed bananas w butter. 

Add sugar, egg, vanilla. Stir. 

Add baking soda and salt.  Stir. 

Add flour. 

Spray pan, pour. 

Bake 50 minutes then check. If not done, add 10 mins. 

Glaze: butter and brown sugar. (Combine to buttery consistency and spread over 20 min cooled cake, let sit in warm oven for 2 minutes then eat)

Henry saw a box of peeps candy for Easter. He realllly wanted one. I told him he could only have one if he pooped on the potty. 

He came out once and grabbed the box, but there was no poop in the potty. I said the only way to get a peep was to actually go poo poo in the potty.

 He is in there now giving himself a hernia trying to earn a marshmallow. Lololol
