Merry Christmas Henry!

Well baby, although this is the first Christmas that you exist, you are not here to see all the wonderful things yet.  So we wait.

I feel you all the time and have no doubt that you are well and healthy.  I thought about you so many times this Christmas- and it's hard for me to believe that this time next year, We'll have a 4 and a half year old Ruby, a two year old Charlotte, and a little sweet baby boy named Henry who will be almost a year old.

   As you kick and squirm through the holiday, I have no doubt that you are a fan of turkey and pumpkin pie already.

Baby Harry or Baby Henry?

Still not sure which beloved name you will end up being.

You are very very active.  I just did my 26 week glucose test to rule out gestational diabetes.  I am hoping I pass so I can have some Christmas time sweets!!

Since you are our last baby, we are giving away our baby girl clothes and I just got my hands on some great baby clothes from you from my friend Jennifer at work.

I feel you trying to turn sometimes, but it feels like you're probably still head up, feet down.  We'll see at our next ultrasound on Dec 2nd!

Good morning, baby

You sure are an active little one.  I feel you moving every day now.

3 more months!!

BOY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

It's amazing!  YOU ARE A BOY!!

Now to put this in perspective, we live right now with 2 girls, and our everyday conversations consist largely of talk about "fairies, balls, glass slippers, princes, and princesses."  Castles and carriages would be no more out of place in our driveway than our own car.

The fact that you are a boy is a new and wonderful concept to me.  Daddy is obviously very happy to have a boy on the way, and we just found out that your cousin who will be born 1 month before you, is ALSO a boy!!!  What are the odds?  Ok,I know the odds.  50%. :)

You are Henry Michael Sawyer, little brother to Ruby and Charlotte, son to Mike and Jackie.  You are cherished.

Tick Tock

Tick tock, tick tock.  The clock moves ever so slowly when you're waiting for something.  I am waiting to find out if you are a boy or a girl.  You would not think this matters so much, and it doesn't.  But with 2 girls, we are fully equipped for another girl, but are completely undecided on a girl name.  If you are a girl, all I need to do is go through my baby clothes and pick out the ones that are still ready for you.

Now, if you are a boy, that will be a different story.  We already have a name picked out that we actually agree on and have no clothes for you whatsoever.

So whether you are a girl with no name, or a boy with no clothes, we will be ready for you when you arrive.  We love you already and cannot wait until we know more about you.

Miracle

Dear Baby,

You are a complete surprise for us.  A joy! A miracle.  From the minute I got a positive pregnancy test until today, when we got back joyous lab results, you are our miracle baby.

I am 13 weeks pregnant with you.  You have two sisters, Ruby, who is 3, and Charlotte, who is just about to turn one year old.  They do not know about you yet, nor does the rest of the family.  You were such a surprise, we wanted to wait to tell everybody.

Now little one, we are ready.  Your Aunt Michelle is also pregnant with a baby who you will someday meet and who is about 1 month older than you.

I can't wait to find out if you are a boy or a girl!  We have your name picked out if you are a boy- Henry Michael (and we will call you Harry), but if you are a girl, it's a tougher decision.  Daddy and I just cannot seem to agree on a name.  I like Allison, Colleen, Collette, Ilene, Alice, and Campbell.  Those last two Daddy and I tentatively agree on- Alice and Campbell.  Daddy likes these names.  Mirabelle, Marabelle, Amelia, Amelie, and some others that I don't particularly like but can't remember right now.
