Dear henry,

You have a new baby cousin!!! Cliff and candy had their first baby last night. She is a perfect, healthy baby girl named Loralei.

Knee crawling

Baby boy! You have already started crawling on your hands and knees. You are pulling up on everything, often resulting in things falling on top of you. Daddy says you will be a rock climber!

You have also started taking baths with your sisters which you sometimes love, and sometimes scream and twist.

First wedding

Yesterday was 11.11.11. It was a popular date for weddings.

It just so happens that this was the day your great aunt dee and Steve chose to get married.
They were married in a neat old church in Petersburg called bland ford church
It was a beautiful ceremony and a nice reception.

Where did Henry Go?

You are on the move, and in fact, already starting to pull up on things, with the result usually being a ding on the head as you fall facefirst from the baby couch, or with the red crates falling on you when you pull them over.  Looks like we have a little re-babyproofing to do.  You keep us on our toes.

Your eyes.  Everyone comments on them when we go out.  They are so very beautiful.  What a beautiful, incredible boy you are growing into!!

Children's Museum of Richmond

You had such a great time and were a great baby today for your first trip to the Children's Museum!!

You liked the baby section and your sisters were very good, letting you play in the baby section for a long time before they got bored and wanted to go to the big kid section.

Teething Grumbles

Poor Baby Henry,

You are having teething misery.  We keep you dosed appropriately on Ibuprofen, but you also have a cold and have a hard time breathing, so between the two, you are just plain miserable.

You're sleeping now.  Dear Lord, Let Henry wake up tomorrow feeling a bit better.  Amen.

Beyond Cute. 

You are so close to crawling.  You get up like this, on your hands and knees and rock back and forth, sometimes getting very frustrated.  You can go backwards, but only go forward through a series of rolls and sideways kicks.

Ya so this picture.. not such a great idea.  See those plants behind you?  Well when we got back home from this walk, both your face and my face had little welts all over.  Apparently we were allergic to something out there.  Sorry about that!  Cute picture though.
